... Was back in September.

Ha. 

Since we have been to Disneyland 934 times & have accumulated 10 times that number in Disney photos, I decided this trip called for video.

I finally sat down & worked on it. 

Since it's only my second go at constructing a video, I procrastinated the heck out of the seemingly challenging task. To my surprise, I had a really good time with it & am pretty pleased at the results.

Aunt Kerry, Uncle Brian, Doug & Krystal all joined in the adventures & our day at Disney was filled with shloads of fun, love & junk food. 

There is a Cafe Rio up in that neck of the woods, I know!!! We obviously had that for dinner. took a little detour on the way home, got lost & ended up having to pay 6.00 for the toll road we landed ourselves on. Klint was stoked about it. Ha

Pollys Tooth :: New Years Day Date

P got an Anna dress from the new disney movie 'Frozen' for Chritsmas.

Although she had her top 2 teeth pulled a bit ago you can see that post down in the Oct. section, P finally has her first loose tooth!! She couldn't be happier, especially since it's the same one her bestie Anya lost only a few weeks ago. I however, can't get over how large my small child is becoming.

Kak & Duncy took the kids all day on 1-1-2014. Hott hunk husband & I got to go on a whole day date! Started in Delmar & made our way up PCH. Stopped in surf shops to buy things, had mexican for lunch, pizza & beer for dinner, ice cream at the harbor & a walk on the beach.... We saw a movie an adult one & even had un-interrupted conversation! Twas quite the magical day

& after play dates in the park, we enjoy coming home to toasty PB&Js alongside icey cold glasses of raw milk.

My life is pretty cool.

The End of a Good Year

That's what happened on 12-31. 2013 was a really great year for me. A REALLY great year.
I learned a lot about a lot of things. Hard work & dedication paid off. More love was spread. & a lot of really good things took place in turn.

I became mom & wife -of-the-year once again, while Klint received stud muffin-of-the-year & the best buns award. He's a pretty good husband & dad too...
Polly is sweet, sassy & smart as ever.
Ted is as passionate as ever... about everything & is a pro at play time.

I am truly thankful for everything that 2013 brought me & mine. Both the good & the bad.
It was our best year yet. We are excited for all that 2014 is bringing us. It can only get better.

To celebrate the closing of 2013, we took the kids ice skating for their very fist time. Went with our lovely & great friends, the Vromans. The last time K & I had been was waaaaay back in junior high. Gah.

Later once the babes were fast asleep, we had the Clemons Ron & Tim over for some snacks, drinks, apples to apples & laughs. The clock struck 12, we kissed our loved ones with a reminder from krystal & I kicked everyone out.

And that it was.
As previously mentioned, the in-loves came to visit for the week before Christmas.
We did Christmasy things. Took a trip to the Christmas house in Poway you know the one... where they over decorate the entire huge thing, dress up like Mr. & Mrs. Clause, hand out toys to the babes & you get hot choc & cookies, made lots of Christmas goodies, including but not limited to, sugar cookies & honey taffy with Grandpa Nielsens honey of course & had a gay ol' tyme.

Christmas Eve we had a lovely dinner with friends Ron & Tim Clemon. As is tradition, we all got to open our one gift of new Christmas jammies & a new movie for the whole fam bam to snuggle on a cozy spot, on the family room floor & watch together. This time is was Turbo.

Christmas day, although the Gwen & the Lindsay had retreated to their snow buried home in Utah, was just about as perfect as can be. Opened presents just as quickly as the sun rose, brunch at Nanny & Papa's, followed by naps & snacks at home the rest of the day. Not much could have made it better...
